Art Director
Led the overall visual direction and design of the series, shaping the creative vision for each title while ensuring consistency across the collection. Responsibilities included developing the visual approach for the books, identifying and onboarding illustrators, coordinating with authors and editors, and managing the illustration process from concept to final artwork. I oversaw illustrator collaborations, handled project coordination and negotiations, and designed the final book layouts, bringing together text and imagery into cohesive, publication-ready picture books.
Art direction and design for a series of 10 early-reader picture books for Pratham Books, originally written in Marathi and developed for a multilingual publishing platform. The series was created to introduce young readers to engaging, culturally rooted stories through accessible language and visually compelling narratives. Each book was designed to work both as a standalone story and as part of a cohesive series, with thoughtful visual storytelling and layouts that support early literacy while allowing the books to adapt across multiple languages.
